Abraxus The Eternal mistakes you for an apprentice and sends you to recover his ransacked tomes and scrolls across the eastern regions.

   Meet Abraxus

   Dressed in the necromancer's crown, robe top and robe bottom, find Abraxus The Eternal in Coalridge Pass, just above the road fork. He mistakes you for his apprentice and orders you to bring back his stolen tomes, warning you not to read them.

   Collect the five tomes

   Rifle through the whole Silverthorn Keep area for the books. You will spot The Pride of the Avernic on the keep's second storey, right by an archery target. The Importance of Chaos waits on a gentle slope at a tower ruin's south-western tip, just north-west from the ominous gateway. Aetheric Fundamentals, a Primordial Primer lies over the stone bridge, at the spot where the curse fragment turns up beside a green dragon spawn. The Wrath of Baba Potterington is hidden in a tumbledown stone cottage beside a grove of nature, sitting north from the 'sil' mark on the Silverthorn Keep map. Leonard the Bound waits on a pedestal upon the gate's western flank, inside the ruins that link Silverthorn Keep with the Lake of Lost Souls, with skeletal archers and hoplites keeping watch.

   Hand in the tomes

   Return to Abraxus and speak to him. He is pleased the books are back, hopes you did not peek, and reveals that three of his scrolls were also taken.

   Hunt the three scrolls

   Take down Razlem, the Deranged, who roams a tiny ruin straight east from the ominous gateway — his scroll rests on a desk close by. Kill Ulgo the zogre in Coalridge Pass, over the 'Coalridge Pass' marker on the map, and claim his scroll beside the chest in his hoard. Last, slay Blightscale, a green dragon on the southern flank of the cliffs climbing toward Silverthorn Keep, north-east from the ominous gateway beyond a few willow trees and ruins; the scroll is found beside bones in the clearing with the spectral door.

   Collect your reward

   With the full necromancer's set equipped, speak to Abraxus once more. He grants you his respect, hands over the Abraxus ring trinket and its recipe, then excuses himself to post a pebble to an old friend.
