Walkthrough

Help Doric recover the relics of Ashien's Watch by clearing the Skeklac Kara vault and translating its blueprint.

1. 1

   Speak to Doric

   Talk to Doric north-east of the Fractured Plains, on the ruined lookout south of Ashien's Watch. He explains that the watch once held valuable relics and supplies, and he needs your help reaching them. A broken bridge leads across to the far side.

   Activate the four statues

   Find and activate all four statues around Ashien's Watch to open the Skeklac Kara vault. Cross the broken bridge with ash logs, or use Windstep with 5 or more air runes to move around.

   Prepare for poison

   Bring antipoison as cooked food with poison resistance or weak antipoison potions. The vault contains putrid rats and gas bubbles that explode and poison you, and they are tucked into corners and blind spots that can deal heavy damage.

4. 4

   Clear the vault

   Push through until you reach the lever that unlocks the vault corruptor's doors. This boss poisons and hits hard, and putrid rats share the room, so attacking from range or with magic keeps you out of harm.

5. 5

   Deliver the blueprint

   After defeating the boss, interact with the statue to collect a blueprint and take it back to Doric for translation. This unlocks the granite maul recipe.
