Vannaka sends you after three Black Knight beast tamers in Dowdun Reach, each controlling a different pack of creatures, to retrieve their training journals.

1. 1

   Speak to Vannaka

   Find him near the tent outside The Library, just after you reach Dowdun Reach. According to him, three Black Knights have each taken control of demonic creatures, and he asks you to bring back their training journals. You can tackle the three in any order.

   Hunt the Rat Master

   Head south-west to The Menagerie, crossing The Library and defeating the lesser blue dragon at the entrance. Rat Master Skrexis waits with his hellrats, perched on a ledge where the lower path runs out. After the fight, his journal sits on a rock behind where he stood, left of the statue.

   Hunt the Hound Master

   Travel to The Garrison, then head down through the forward building to its bottom level. Houndmaster Rexiton fights alongside his whole hellhound pack at once, so manage the dogs while pressuring him. His journal is on the table in the central kennel.

   Hunt the Summoner

   Travelling south from Vannaka brings you to The Cathedral, where you descend into the crypts; his quarters lie right beside The Lake, the nearest nodestone. Summoner Flament wanders here with Delrom, his demon, who hits hard. Once Flament falls, collect his journal from the back-wall plinth beneath the demon gargoyle.

   Return to Vannaka

   Bring all three journals back to Vannaka. He rewards you with a trinket for dealing with demonic creatures.
