The Avisk Crystal wants a shortcut to Fuzan's Volcano. Recover three crystal helix fragments from broken vault guardians, then break through the magical barrier.

1. 1

   Speak to the Avisk Crystal

   Approach the Avisk Crystal in Umbral Sands to begin the quest, then find the nearby cave and speak to Vault Guardian Prime. It explains that three crystal helix remains are scattered around and must be brought together.

2. 2

   Recover the damaged guardian's helix

   Still in Vault Guardian Prime's room, turn to face directly opposite it and trace the red lights along the tunnels. In the large cave at the end, the damaged guardian's remains lie on the left-hand side.

   Recover the dead guardian's helix

   You will find the second guardian sitting in the kalphite eggs, outside the cave entrance and over to its right. Its helix is missing, so follow the Footprints to Zanik at the oasis camp east of the kalphites and help her to receive the crystal helix.

   Recover the buried guardian's helix

   The last guardian is buried inside a ruined building. Dig it up with a shovel, then reactivate it using 4 vault shards in your inventory to claim the helix.

5. 5

   Open the barrier

   Head back to Vault Guardian Prime and deliver all three crystal helix fragments, then use the assembled crystal helix to cross the magical barrier.

6. 6

   Break the Avisk crystals

   Speak to Zanik, smash the Avisk crystals with a pickaxe, and interact with each Vein of Consciousness. Speak to Zanik once more to complete the quest.
