Kuldra & the Scorned Wilderness: Full Boss Guide
Kuldra is the final boss of Kuldra's Saga and the Scorned Wilderness raid. She has Power 9, 240,000 HP and cannot be damaged directly — the fight is built around the Anima Cannon. This guide covers the raid route, preparation, all four phases and the loot.

Before You Enter
The Scorned Wilderness is the 1.0 raid. To open it, complete Icthlarin's Little Helper and start Regicide. The entrance sits in the north-western Fractured Plains, in Ghornfell. The route is tuned around Power 8–9 gear: the raid contains Power 8 black dragons and Kuldra herself is Power 9.
Build a base at Rasthin's Rest before you push deeper. It is the only buildable area in the raid and the safe hub where Commander Zilyana starts or resumes a run. If you die, your gravestone returns to Zilyana rather than the spot where you fell.
The Raid Route
- Rasthin's Rest. Build a bed and a base, then speak to Zilyana to start the raid. This is your checkpoint for the whole run.
- Dragontail Vines. The first combat zone. Mine Runite and Luminite ore and chop Magic Trees on the way through. Black dragons, zombies and skeletal archers and warriors patrol here; their Discordant Residue is used for Power 8 gear.
- Fragments of Ghornfell. A Zilyana Teleporter lets you leave and restock. Expect Garou Hunters, Berserkers and Thanes, Goblin Bruisers and Archers, a Skeletal Necromancer, a Plague King and an Abyssal Demon. Two Sanguine Urns are in the area.
- The Shattered Stronghold. Another teleporter, then more Garou Berserkers and giant rats, including elemental variants.
- Cataclysm Keep. A black dragon, Wild Jade Vines, a Garou Hunter and two Vault Guardians. There is another Sanguine Urn here.
- Kuldra's Sanctum. Runite and Luminite deposits line the approach to the Dragon Gate. Interact with the gate to enter Kuldra's arena.
Preparation
Kuldra punishes slow reactions more than raw gear checks. Bring food you can eat quickly, one combat infusion and a clean hotbar.
- Healing: Stuffed Catfish restores 200 health. Undead Delight restores 180 and grants Sea Life; Eggs Royale is the easier Sea Life option.
- Infusions: pick one for your combat style. Infusions do not stack, so choose stamina reduction or the Soul Food option rather than doubling up.
- Antipoison: bring Antipoison Potions for phase four. The standard 300-second potion is enough; the super version is optional.
- Damage boosts: Whetstone for melee, Magical Focus for magic, and Super Antifire against her energy breath.
- Spells: Surge for extra dodges, Tempest Shield for melee, crossbow and wand users, Enchant Weapon: Air for melee speed and damage, and Spectral Arrows for ranged. Internal Alchemy can refresh food and drink buffs if you can spare the cast time.

How the Fight Works
Kuldra cannot be attacked directly. Each of the first three phases is a cannon puzzle: kill the Dragon Hatchling, take its anima to the pylon and orb dispenser, then load and fire the Anima Cannon. Six cannon blasts push Kuldra into the next phase. During the cannon work, her five heads keep firing at you.
- Main beam: the central head sweeps a beam across the arena. Move out of the line.
- Green head: poison sludge at your position.
- Red head: fireballs rain into the arena; one is aimed at where you last stood.
- White head: a lingering ice shard tries to freeze you.
- Blue head: lightning at your position.
Dragon Hatchlings are the anima source. Killing one gives you the element it carries, which you can spend on the Anima Pylon or the Anima Orb Dispenser. You cannot carry orbs between phases — they drop when Zilyana shields you.
Phase 1: Blue Hatchling
The opening phase is the calmest. Kill the blue Dragon Hatchling for water anima, charge the cannon and fire six blasts. There is also an earth Crystallized Anima in the arena you can use on the dispenser. When the sixth blast lands, Zilyana appears and raises a barrier. Stand inside it immediately; Kuldra's phase-ending attack hits hard outside the shield.
You can hold an anima charge and an orb at the same time. Use that to shorten the waiting time between cannon shots: collect the orb, deposit your charge, then fire.
Phase 2: Fire Hatchling
Phase two moves you to a new platform and speeds up the head attacks. Kill the red Dragon Hatchling for fire anima, then repeat the pylon-and-cannon loop for another six blasts. Her fireball pattern covers more ground and the poison and ice attacks come in pairs, so clear the current volley before you commit to the cannon.
In a group, stagger the anima deposits instead of stacking them: one player feeds the first pylon, one loads the orb dispenser, and one handles the next element. That keeps orbs spawning while the cannon is being reloaded.
Phase 3: The Pylon Run
Phase three starts on a secondary floating platform. Jump to the platform with the Anima Orb Dispenser, then cross the floating islands to the main arena. The lightning attack can knock you out of a jump, so watch the blue head before you leap.
This phase has two pylons. Insert an orb into the Water Pylon to open the gate to the Fire Pylon. The Fire Pylon already holds an orb; activating it powers the Anima Cannon. If you have Fire Anima, you can skip the gate by using Windstep on the broken pillar to the right and jumping the wall, then return over the green gems on the left.
Once the cannon is online, fire six more blasts. Kuldra is stunned, a bridge forms to her platform, and you can enter her mouth to start the final phase.
Phase 4: Kuldra's Heart
Inside Kuldra, the target is Kuldra's Heart. Heartworms spawn in the arena while poison explosions fill the floor, and the explosions become more frequent as the heart loses HP. Keep your Antipoison buff active, clear worms when they crowd you, and save a dodge for the explosion overlap.
There is a safe spot inside the tunnel entrance where ranged and magic users can attack the heart while avoiding most of the poison. Heartworms can still reach the tunnel, so do not treat it as a full immunity. When the heart reaches zero, run for the exit immediately.
Loot and After the Fight
- Kuldra's Head and the Queenslayer's Reward Pack drop from Kuldra. Hand the head to Zilyana.
- Regicide rewards include Lougrim's Staff, the Dragon Kiteshield and the Dragonslayer's Cape.
- Take Lougrim's Staff into Umbral Sands and speak to Ancamairon, the Alcarrid Elder, for the Lougrim Memorial Shrine furniture reward.
